Biography

I am native Washingtonian and the youngest of five siblings. I have a daughter and one granddaughter.  I am a Christian comedienne, actress, author, and entrepreneur.  I have been pursuing my calling since 1998.  In 2001, I launched my own company Royal Comedian Gospel Enterprises.

I have had the privilege of being interviewed by radio personalities Christina Gray of the WHUR, Noon-day Café and Raenell Green of Heaven 1580 a.m.   I have also had featured articles printed in The Washington, Prince George’s Gazette, The Vine and a few online publications.

I have performed on the east and west coasts, and Puerto Rico.  I have opened for some of Gospel’s greatest artists and speakers such as: Pastor Andrew Best, Chinnitta “Chocolate” Morris, Maurette Brown Clark, Willie Jolley, Vickie Yohe, Stephen Hurd, Lisa McClendon, Andrae Crouch and Sean Sarvis.

My acting genre includes print, television, commercials, and stage plays. I was nominated “Comedian of the Month” in April 2006 by ITZ Comedy Productions, Dallas TX.  I was also selected to sit on their Governing Board.  I have been asked by Chonda Pierce, President of the Christian Comedy Association (CCA) to be a mentor for comedians affiliated with CCA.  Please visit CCA's website at www.christiancomedyassociation.com.

I have self-published two books of inspirational poetry, prayers, songs, and affirmations and produced my first DVD “Triple Platinum Live.”  I launched my eNewletter February 2008 and just celebrated my one year anniversary for Word-Up!  Word-Up is about self-awareness and living a purpose filled life.  I am also a contributor writer for Born-to-Move Magazine [www.borntomove.org].

I am a devoted member at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden under the spiritual leaderships of Pastor John K. Jenkins, Sr. and First Lady Trina Jenkins.
